Ingredients
- 1 c. butter or margarine
- 2 c. sugar
- 4 eggs, beaten
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 4 c. sifted flour
- 1/8 tsp. ground nutmeg
- 1/8 tsp. ground cinnamon
Method
- Cream the butter; gradually add sugar and beat until light and fluffy.
- Beat in eggs.
- Sift together the dry ingredients; stir into creamed mixture.
- Chill overnight.
- Roll dough thin and cook 10 to 12 minutes in moderate oven.
