Ingredients

  • 2 pkg. Stove Top corn bread stuffing mix
  • 3/4 c. melted margarine
  • 1 1/2 to 2 c. chicken broth
  • 3 c. chopped, cooked chicken
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1/2 c. chopped celery
  • 1/2 c. mayonnaise type salad dressing
  • 2 eggs, well beaten
  • 1 1/2 c. milk
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • shredded Cheddar cheese

Method

  • Combine stuffing mix, margarine and broth in bowl; mix well. Press half of mixture over bottom of 9 x 13-inch baking dish. Combine chicken, onion, celery, salad dressing, eggs, milk and salt in medium bowl; mix well.
  • Spoon into prepared dish.
  • Top with remaining stuffing mixture.
  • Bake at 325° for 35 minutes. Sprinkle with Cheddar cheese.
  • Bake for 10 minutes.
  • Yields 8 servings.
