Ingredients

  • 2 to 2 1/2 lb. roast beef meat (round, chuck or sirloin tip) or leftover roast beef
  • 2 Tbsp. oil
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 3/4 c. grated onion
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 3 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. ground cumin
  • 1/2 c. oil
  • 2 c. chopped fine onions
  • 1/2 c. pimiento, chopped
  • 2 c. tomatoes, chopped fine (without skin and seeds)
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. ketchup

Method

  • Make marinade for meat:
  • Combine 2 tablespoons oil, 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce, grated onion, garlic (crushed), 3 teaspoons salt, 1/2 teaspoon pepper and ground comino.
  • Mix well and rub it into the meat.
  • Marinate meat for 1/2 hour.
