Ingredients
- 1/2 c. beef suet
- 2 lb. ground venison
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp. paprika
- 2 Tbsp. chili powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. white pepper
- 2 tsp. diced chili pods
Method
- Fry suet in heavy kettle.
- Add venison.
- Cook, stirring, until browned.
- Stir in remaining ingredients.
- Add enough water to cover.
- Cook slowly for 4 to 5 hours, stirring occasionally, adding water as needed for desired consistency.
- Serve with pinto beans.
- Freezes well.
