Ingredients
- 2 c. thinly sliced zucchini
- 1 large thinly sliced tomato
- 1 medium thinly sliced onion
- 3 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
Method
- Be careful in your selection.
- Do not choose too young and select only those that have been reared in a good moral atmosphere. Some keep them in a pickle, others keep them in hot water.
- This only makes them sour, harsh and sometimes bitter.
- Even poor selections may be made sweet, tender and good by garnishing them with patience, well sweetened smiles and flavored with kisses to taste.
- Then wrap them in a mantle of charity.
- Keep warm with a steady fire of domestic devotion, then serve with peaches and cream.
- When thus prepared, they will keep for years.
