Ingredients
- 2 qt. strawberries
- 1 c. water
- 9 c. sugar
- 2 qt. berries
Method
- Boil 5 cups sugar.
- Add water until it spins a thread.
- Add berries.
- Bring to a boil (rolling) for 4 minutes.
- Add 4 cups sugar and bring to a boil again for 4 minutes.
- Stir and skim off foam.
- Pour into shallow pan.
- Stir occasionally and leave overnight.
- Put in jars and seal.
