Ingredients
- 1 baked 9-inch pie shell
- 1 qt. hulled strawberries
- 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 c. granulated sugar
Method
- With a fork or pastry blender, crush half of strawberries. Stir in cornstarch and sugar.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring, until clear and thickened.
- Cool.
- Slice rest of strawberries into halves and fold into cooled mixture.
- Turn into baked crust. Refrigerate until well chilled.
- Serve with whipped topping.
