Ingredients
- 1 baked angel food cake
- 2 tsp. gelatin
- 3 Tbsp. cold water
- juice from 1 (8 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries
- 1 pt. whipping cream
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1/2 pt. whipping cream
Method
- Dissolve gelatin in cold water.
- Add juice from berries; heat, bringing to a boil.
- Cool.
- Cut the cake into squares.
- Put 1/2 in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
- Whip 1 pint whipping cream.
- Add sugar.
- Fold in berries and gelatin mixture.
- Put 1/2 of this over cake in pan. Repeat with other 1/2 of cake and cream mixture.
- Served with whipped cream.
- Refrigerate.
