Ingredients

  • 3 1/2 ounces ground beef
  • 3 3/8 tablespoons salsa
  • 3 3/8 tablespoons water
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/3 can kidney beans
  • mashed potatoes
  • shredded cheddar

Method

  • 1. Cook ground beef over medium-high heat, until brown and crumbly. I used a pot.
  • 2. Stir in all the other ingredients except the mashed potatoes and cheese.
  • 3. Mix well and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and allow mixture to simmer and thicken.
  • 4. Turn off the heat, scoop the mashed potatoes onto the meat. Add the cheese and cover for 2 minutes or until cheese melts.
