Ingredients
- 8 to 9 c. flour
- 1 c. nonfat dry milk
- 3 pkg. dry yeast
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 3 c. warm water
- 1/3 c. soft butter
- 1/3 c. honey
Method
- In large mixing bowl, put 2 cups flour, dry milk, yeast and salt.
- Pour in water; beat 1 minute.
- Add butter and honey; beat another minute.
- Gradually add enough flour to make a soft dough. Turn onto floured board; knead 5 to 10 minutes.
- Place dough in bowl; let rise (1 1/2 hours).
- Punch down; knead gently.
- Shape into loaves (3 to 4, depending on size).
- Let rise (1/2 hour). Bake at 350° for 40 to 45 minutes.
