Ingredients
- 1 c. persimmon pulp
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. butter, melted
- 1 egg, well beaten
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 c. sifted flour
- 2 tsp. soda
- 1/2 c. sweet milk
Method
- Press persimmons through sieve.
- Mix ingredients in order given.
- Pour mixture into a 1 1/2-quart greased top of double boiler.
- Put cover on tight and steam for 2 hours without removing cover.
- Serve warm with a spoonful of whipped topping.
