Ingredients

  • 1/3 c. vegetable oil
  • 1/4 c. soy sauce
  • 1/4 c. red wine vinegar
  • 1 small onion, minced
  • 1 Tbsp. Dijon style mustard
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp. Italian seasoning

Method

  • Instead of red wine vinegar, you may substitute other vinegars (cider, white or white wine).
  • You may also use any dry white wine.
  • Beer works well, too.
  • Prepared mustard or brown mustard may be used instead of Dijon mustard.
  • About 1/4 teaspoon each of basil, oregano and thyme may be substituted for the Italian seasoning.
