- 2 pkgs. or bunches fresh spinach leaves
- 1 bunch green onions
- 1 can sliced water chestnuts
- 1 pkg. bacon (fried and crumbled)
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 tsp. worcestershire sauce
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 cup cider vinegar
- 2 cups oil
Method
- Tear or cup spinach into pieces.
- Cut tops off of onions and add to spinach.
- Chop onions and add also add water chestnuts and bacon.
- Mix dressing in the order as listed in a blender.
- Pour over salad, toss to coat.
- Serve.
