Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 2 c. cooked, conditioned or parboiled rice
  • 1/2 c. seeded and chopped bell pepper
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 chopped jalapeno pepper (optional)
  • 1 Tbsp. chili powder
  • 1 (4 oz.) can chopped green chilies
  • 1 (10 oz.) can tomatoes and green chilies
  • 1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1 (16 oz.) carton sour cream
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion

Method

  • Brown beef and drain.
  • Add all other ingredients except sour cream.
  • Simmer 10 or 15 minutes.
  • Add sour cream; heat but do not boil.
  • Serve with chips.
