Ingredients
- 1 lb. round steak
- 1 medium onion
- 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1 (16 oz.) can crushed tomatoes
- 1 can mushrooms
- 1 tsp. chili powder or to taste
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 1 or 2 bay leaves
- 1/2 c. water
Method
- Brown steak in vegetable oil; simmer in a little water until it starts to get tender.
- Add tomatoes, onion, chili powder, garlic, oregano and bay leaves.
- Cook until it is done; add mushrooms.
- This can be eaten on cooked rice or wide noodles.
