Ingredients
- 4 c. Spam (large size), grated
- 2 c. Colby cheese, grated
- 4 Tbsp. onion, thinly diced
- 4 Tbsp. green pepper, thinly diced
- 2 Tbsp. pimento, diced
- 2 Tbsp. sweet pickle, thinly diced
- 4 Tbsp. catsup
- 1 Tbsp. mayonnaise
- 10 hot dog buns
Method
- Mix all ingredients, except buns, throughly.
- Spread on buttered hot dog buns and wrap in foil for oven baking or Saran Wrap for the microwave.
- Bake 15 minutes at 325° (preheated) oven. Bake on High in microwave just long enough to heat through. Freeze leftover sandwiches and thaw before baking.
- A great sandwich to keep in the freezer for snacks.
- Just be careful on that first bite.
- It is hot.
