- 6 oz. spaghetti
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
- 2 eggs, well beaten
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomatoes, cut up (undrained)
- 1 (6 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. dried crushed oregano
- 1/2 Tbsp. garlic salt
- 1/2 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
Method
- Cook spaghetti.
- Drain.
- Stir in butter until melted.
- Add Parmesan cheese and egg.
- Mix well.
- Form mixture into crust in a greased pie pan or small cake pan.
- In a skillet, cook ground beef, onion and green pepper until vegetables are tender.
- Drain off any grease.
- Stir in undrained tomatoes, tomato sauce, sugar, oregano and garlic salt.
- Heat through.
- Spread tomato mixture over spaghetti crust.
- Sprinkle Mozzarella cheese and Parmesan cheese on top.
- Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 30 minutes.
