Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp. bacon drippings
- 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 3 c. shredded cabbage (1/2 head)
- 1 c. thinly sliced celery
- 1 medium onion
- 1/2 green pepper, chopped
- 2 medium tomatoes, peeled and chopped
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
Method
- Heat bacon drippings and oil in large skillet.
- Stir in cabbage, celery, onion, green pepper and tomatoes.
- Sprinkle with sugar and salt.
- Cover and cook over medium heat for 5 minutes. Stir once or twice during cooking.
