Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 1 green pepper, diced
  • 1 can whole tomatoes
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1 to 2 tsp. chili powder
  • 1 bag Success rice

Method

  • In a large skillet, brown ground beef with onions and green pepper.
  • Drain off grease and return to skillet.
  • Add whole tomatoes, salt, pepper and chili powder.
  • Stir until it is well blended.
  • Reduce heat to simmer and cover.
  • Simmer for 40 to 50 minutes.
  • Cook rice as directed on box.
  • Serve hash over rice when it is done.
