Ingredients

  • 1 c. soft butter
  • 1 c. natural chunky peanut butter
  • 1 scant c. white sugar
  • 1 loose c. brown sugar
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. Ghirardelli chocolate chips
  • 2 beaten eggs

Method

  • Preheat oven to 375°.
  • Cream butter, peanut butter and sugars. Add beaten eggs and mix well.
  • Sift dry ingredients and stir in.
  • Stir in chocolate chips.
  • Drop by tablespoons on ungreased cookie sheets. Press down with fork in checkerboard design.
  • Bake 10 to 11 minutes until golden brown. May be doubled. Makes 5 dozen.
