Ingredients

  • 1 lb. mild Italian sausage
  • 1 pkg. Kraft Italian spaghetti dinner
  • 1 (29 oz.) can tomatoes
  • 1 (16 oz.) can kidney beans, drained
  • 1 c. chopped green pepper
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
  • 3 c. water

Method

  • Remove casing from sausage.
  • In Dutch oven brown sausage; drain.
  • Add the herb-spice mix, vegetables, tomato paste and water; bring to a boil.
  • Break the spaghetti into thirds; add to hot mixture.
  • Cover; simmer 20 minutes.
  • Sprinkle servings with the grated Parmesan cheese.
  • Makes 6 to 8 servings.
