Ingredients

  • 2 14 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup butter, at room temp
  • 34 cup brown sugar
  • 14 cup white sugar
  • 1 (3 1/2 ounce) package instant pudding mix
  • 2 eggs, at room temp
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups chocolate chips
  • 1 cup nuts (optional)

Method

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  • Sift together the flour and baking soda and set aside.
  • Cream the butter and sugars, then add the pudding and mix until well blended, add the eggs and vanilla and mix.
  • mix in the flour.
  • Add the chocolate chips and nuts and stir until well distributed.
  • Drop rounded tablespoons onto a ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are just browned.
