Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. cocktail franks
  • 1/2 lb. bacon
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 (16 oz.) cans pork and beans, drained
  • 3/4 c. smoked barbecue sauce
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 c. catsup
  • 1 tsp. prepared mustard

Method

  • In large skillet fry bacon until crisp; drain on paper towels and crumble.
  • Combine pork and beans, onion, garlic, barbecue sauce, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, catsup and mustard.
  • Mix in crumbled bacon and franks.
  • Bake at 300° for 2 to 2 1/2 hours.
