Ingredients

  • 2 loaves frozen bread dough
  • 1 stick butter or oleo
  • 2 pkg. vanilla pudding (not instant)
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 2 Tbsp. milk

Method

  • Thaw bread and break into small uniform chunks.
  • Place in buttered 9 x 13-inch pan (can add nuts or raisins).
  • In saucepan, melt butter, stir in dry pudding, brown sugar, cinnamon and milk. Bring to boil, stirring constantly.
  • Cool and pour evenly over bread.
  • Cover with damp towel, place in warm place until bread reaches top of pan.
  • Bake 30 minutes at 350°.
  • Invert immediately over serving platter.
  • Serve warm.
