Ingredients

  • 1 deer tenderloin or large roast
  • 1 medium to large green pepper
  • 1 medium to large onion
  • 4 tsp. soy sauce
  • 1 c. tap water
  • garlic

Method

  • Place meat in smoker at low temperature for 2 hours.
  • Lay a large oven roasting bag in a large pan, allowing room for expansion.
  • Place meat in bag, liberally sprinkle with garlic. Slice pepper and onion into strips; lay equal portions on meat and in bottom of bag.
  • Pour soy sauce on meat.
  • Pour water in bottom of bag and seal according to bag directions.
  • Preheat oven to 350° and cook for one hour.
  • By using the roasting bag the steam will put moisture back in the meat.
