Ingredients
- 4 large potatoes
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 4 tablespoons clarified butter
- 1 1/4 cups tomato sauce
- salt and pepper
- 3/4 cup water
Method
- Peel potatoes, if desired, and slice 1/2" thick.
- Heat butter in a saucepan. Add onion and cook until golden brown.
- Add potatoes, tomato sauce and water. Season to taste.
- Cover and simmer until potatoes are tender, about 30 minutes.
