Ingredients
- smoked sausages
- chicken broth (13 1/4 oz.)
- mustard
- mustard seed
- onions
- cabbage
- apples
- sweet potatoes, peeled and cut in 1/2-inch chunks
Method
- Stir chicken broth and mustard in a deep skillet.
- Add mustard seed and bring to a boil.
- Add sweet potatoes and onions; reduce heat to medium.
- Cover and cook about 5 minutes, until potatoes are almost tender.
- Add sausage and cabbage.
- Cover and cook 15 minutes longer, until potatoes are tender and cabbage is crisp-tender. Stir in apple.
- Cover and simmer additional 3 minutes until apple is crisp-tender.
