Ingredients
- 3/4 c. butter or margarine
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1/2 c. cocoa
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 4 eggs
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
Method
- Preheat oven to 350°.
- In a 3-quart pan over low heat, melt butter.
- Remove from heat.
- Add sugar, flour, cocoa, baking powder, salt, eggs and vanilla; stir with spoon until batter is well blended.
- Stir in 1 1/2 cups chips.
- Spread in a 13 x 9-inch pan.
- Sprinkle with remaining chips.
- Bake for 30 to 35 minutes. Cool on wire rack.
