Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. round steak
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes, cut up
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 4 medium carrots, cut in strips
  • 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. oil
  • 1/2 tsp. dried dill seed
  • 2 medium zucchini, sliced

Method

  • Trim excess fat from steak.
  • Cut meat into 6 servings.
  • In a bag, combine salt, flour and pepper.
  • Shake meat in flour mix. Brown meat in hot oil; transfer meat to platter, leaving oil in skillet.
  • Brown remainder of flour in skillet.
  • Stir in tomatoes, dried dill seed and carrots.
  • Cook for 10 minutes.
  • Add zucchini. Continue cooking for 30 minutes and serve.
