Ingredients

  • 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 2 Onions, Chopped Into Small Pieces
  • 3 cloves Garlic, Minced
  • 2 cans (28 Oz. Or 800g Size) Chopped Tomatoes
  • 2- 1/2 cups Water
  • 1 Tablespoon Tomato Puree
  • 1 Tablespoon Dried Basil
  • Salt And Pepper

Method

  • Heat oil in a large pot over high heat.
  • Fry onions and garlic for a few minutes, stirring frequently to prevent them from burning.
  • Once onions are golden brown, add tomatoes, water, tomato puree, basil, salt and pepper.
  • Bring to boil before turning heat down to medium-low.
  • Simmer for 15 minutes.
  • Blend soup until completely smooth.
  • Season to taste with salt and pepper.
