Ingredients
- 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
- 2 Onions, Chopped Into Small Pieces
- 3 cloves Garlic, Minced
- 2 cans (28 Oz. Or 800g Size) Chopped Tomatoes
- 2- 1/2 cups Water
- 1 Tablespoon Tomato Puree
- 1 Tablespoon Dried Basil
- Salt And Pepper
Method
- Heat oil in a large pot over high heat.
- Fry onions and garlic for a few minutes, stirring frequently to prevent them from burning.
- Once onions are golden brown, add tomatoes, water, tomato puree, basil, salt and pepper.
- Bring to boil before turning heat down to medium-low.
- Simmer for 15 minutes.
- Blend soup until completely smooth.
- Season to taste with salt and pepper.
