Ingredients

  • 3/4 c. flour
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/4 c. Crisco
  • 1/2 sq. melted chocolate
  • 1 to 2 Tbsp. cold water
  • 1 (15 oz.) Eagle Brand canned milk
  • 1/4 c. lime juice with pinch of salt
  • 1 c. crushed pineapple, drained well
  • 2 to 3 drops green food color
  • 3/4 c. cream, whipped
  • 1 Tbsp. confectioners sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 Tbsp. grated chocolate

Method

  • Crust:
  • Sift together flour, salt and sugar.
  • Cut in Crisco and drip in melted chocolate.
  • Sprinkle with cold water.
  • Bake at 400° for 10 to 12 minutes.
