Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. diced onion
  • 1/2 c. diced carrot
  • 1/4 c. butter or margarine
  • 1 to 1 1/2 lb. thawed shrimp
  • 1 can evaporated milk
  • 1 1/2 to 2 cans regular milk
  • salt, pepper, Season-All salt and garlic salt to taste
  • 1/2 lb. Velveeta cheese
  • cornstarch/water

Method

  • Saute the first two ingredients in butter or margarine.
  • Add shrimp to onion and carrot; saute about 2 to 3 minutes.
  • Add milks.
  • Add salt, pepper, Season-All salt, garlic salt and cheese. Heat until cheese melts and mixture is hot.
  • Thicken with cornstarch/water.
