Ingredients
- stick of butter
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic
- parsley flakes
- 2 cans tomato sauce
- 2 lb. shrimp (or crawfish)
- 2 c. brown or white rice
Method
- Melt
- stick of butter in a saucepan; add onion, pepper, garlic and parsley flakes.
- Simmer until onions are clear; add tomato sauce, 1/2 can of water and meat.
- Cover and simmer for 30 minutes or until meat is done.
- Serve over rice.
