Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. margarine
  • 1/2 c. white sugar
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 c. nuts, chopped
  • 1 c. chocolate chips
  • 1 c. maraschino cherries, quartered

Method

  • Cream margarine and sugars.
  • Add eggs, vanilla, baking powder, flour and milk.
  • Alternate flour and milk when adding.
  • Stir remaining ingredients with a spoon and add to first mixture.
  • Bake in greased and floured jelly roll pan for 30 to 35 minutes at 350°.
  • Drizzle top with powdered sugar frosting.
