Ingredients

  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 3 oz. cream cheese
  • 1 pkg. (small) unflavored gelatin
  • 8 oz. mayonnaise
  • 2 cans small shrimp, deveined
  • 4 green onions, chopped fine
  • 1/2 c. celery, chopped fine

Method

  • Bring soup to boil (no water).
  • Add cream cheese; stir until dissolved.
  • Add gelatin and mayonnaise, stirring until blended well.
  • Add shrimp, onions and celery; stir.
  • Grease mold with mayonnaise and pour mixture in.
  • Let set 2 to 3 hours.
  • Unmold by dipping in hot water.
  • Serve with crackers or rye bread.
