Ingredients

  • 1 lb. medium shrimp, cleaned and deveined
  • 4 large cloves garlic, minced fine
  • 4 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 can Pastene ground peeled tomatoes (28 oz.)
  • 1 lb. linguine macaroni

Method

  • Saute garlic in small frying pan until light golden brown. Put tomatoes in a saucepan.
  • Add garlic.
  • Cook for 15 to 20 minutes.
  • Saute shrimp for one minute in a very hot frying pan, using the oil you cooked the garlic in.
  • Add shrimp to tomato sauce.
  • Cook only 2 minutes longer.
  • Serve over linguine, prepared according to package directions.
