Ingredients
- 2/3 c. butter or oleo
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1/2 c. cocoa
- 2/3 c. sauerkraut
- 3 eggs
- 2 1/4 c. flour (all-purpose)
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 c. water
Method
- Rinse, drain and chop sauerkraut.
- Cream butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla.
- Add dry ingredients alternately with water.
- Stir in sauerkraut.
- Bake in 2 greased and floured 8-inch pans for 30 minutes in 350° oven.
