- 10 large shrimp
- 1 (4 oz.) can whole green chiles, cut lengthwise into strips
- 10 strips bacon
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 1/2 onion, diced
- dash of paprika
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- dash of pepper
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 lime
- 1/4 bunch fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1/3 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/4 c. dark beer
- 1 large egg white
- 1/2 tsp. salt, divided
- 3/4 c. fine, dry, unseasoned bread crumbs
- 1/4 c. finely chopped pecans (1 oz.)
- 1/4 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
- 1 lb. medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 lemon wedges
Method
- Preheat oven to 450°.
- Lightly oil a rack large enough to hold shrimp in a single layer.
- Put the rack on a baking sheet and set aside.
