Ingredients

  • 1 (1/2 c.) stick butter or margarine
  • 1/4 oil (olive or vegetable)
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 1 tsp. parsley
  • 2 to 3 cloves garlic or 1/2 tsp. chopped garlic
  • 1 lb. peeled and deveined shrimp
  • 1 lb. cooked spaghetti or linguine
  • Parmesan cheese to taste
  • salt to taste

Method

  • Cook pasta.
  • Combine butter, water, oil, parsley, garlic and salt in large skillet.
  • Heat on medium setting until boiling.
  • Add shrimp and cook 5 to 7 minutes until shrimp are bright pink.
  • Pour sauce over cooked spaghetti and linguine.
  • Add Parmesan cheese. Serve.
