Ingredients

  • 3 cups shiitake mushrooms, coarsely chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, pressed
  • 2 shallots, minced
  • 2 teaspoons ginger root, grated
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons Dr. Fuhrman's VegiZest or other no salt seasoning blend
  • Steamed vegetable, such as broccoli, string beans or snow peas

Method

  • Saute all sauce ingredients until mushrooms are juicy and shallots soft.
  • Toss broccoli, green beans, snow peas or any other lightly steamed firm vegetable in sauce and simmer to blend flavors.
