- 3 c. cooked rice
- 1 lb. round steak, sliced
- 1 Tbsp. paprika
- 2 Tbsp. margarine
- 1 1/2 c. beef broth
- 1 c. sliced onions
- 2 green peppers, cut in strips
- 1 c. chopped celery
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/4 c. water
- 1/4 c. soy sauce
- 2 large tomatoes
Method
- Sprinkle paprika over meat and brown in margarine.
- Simmer with broth.
- Add onions, pepper and celery.
- Cook 5 minutes.
- Mix cornstarch, water and soy sauce; stir into meat.
- Cook until clear and thick; add tomatoes.
- Serve over rice.
