Ingredients

  • 3 c. cooked rice
  • 1 lb. round steak, sliced
  • 1 Tbsp. paprika
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine
  • 1 1/2 c. beef broth
  • 1 c. sliced onions
  • 2 green peppers, cut in strips
  • 1 c. chopped celery
  • 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 1/4 c. soy sauce
  • 2 large tomatoes

Method

  • Sprinkle paprika over meat and brown in margarine.
  • Simmer with broth.
  • Add onions, pepper and celery.
  • Cook 5 minutes.
  • Mix cornstarch, water and soy sauce; stir into meat.
  • Cook until clear and thick; add tomatoes.
  • Serve over rice.
