Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground lean beef
  • 1/2 c. seasoned dry bread crumbs
  • 1/2 c. finely chopped onion
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 Tbsp. water
  • 1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
  • 2 c. hot prepared instant mashed potatoes
  • 8 oz. sharp Cheddar cheese, cut in 1/4-inch cubes
  • 1 c. cooked mixed peas and carrots

Method

  • Preheat oven to 400°.
  • In a medium bowl place beef, bread crumbs, onion, egg, 2 tablespoons water, Worcestershire sauce and black pepper.
  • Mix with hands until well combined.
