Ingredients
- 6 medium potatoes
- 2 carrots
- 6 celery stalks
- 1 small onion
- 2 qt. water
- 6 Tbsp. butter or oleo
- 6 Tbsp. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1 1/2 c. milk
Method
- In large kettle, cook diced potatoes, carrots and celery until tender (about 20 minutes).
- Drain and reserve liquid.
