Ingredients

  • 1 head romaine or any fancy lettuce
  • 1 c. cooked small macaroni shells
  • 1/2 c. grated sharp cheese
  • 1 c. cooked ham, cubed
  • 1 c. washed frozen small green peas, semi thawed
  • 6 to 8 cherry tomatoes
  • 2 hard-cooked eggs, cut in wedges
  • mayonnaise or Ranch dressing

Method

  • In a large salad bowl about 7 to 8 inches high on sides, arrange leaves of washed and patted dry romaine lettuce around sides of salad bowl.
  • Place macaroni shells, grated fresh sharp cheese and cooked ham cubes in next.
  • Add frozen small peas.
  • Top with cherry tomatoes and wedged egg slices.
  • Cool in refrigerator until ready.
