Ingredients
- 2 (14 1/4 oz.) cans stewed tomatoes
- 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1 tsp. dried crushed oregano
- 1 tsp. dried crushed basil
- 1/4 tsp. crushed red pepper
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp. dried thyme
- 1 lb. peeled shrimp
- 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
Method
- Combine undrained tomatoes, tomato paste, onion, oregano, basil, red pepper, garlic powder and thyme.
- Bring to boiling. Reduce heat.
- Cook, uncovered, over medium-low heat, 10 minutes or until mixture thickens slightly, stirring occasionally.
- Add shrimp and green pepper.
- Cook, uncovered, 10 minutes or until shrimp are no longer pink, stirring occasionally.
- Serve over spaghetti.
- Makes 6 servings.
