Ingredients
- 1 (1 lb. 13 oz.) can sliced peaches
- 1 c. flour (stir before measuring)
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1/3 c. lightly packed brown sugar
- 1/2 c. coarsely chopped walnuts or pecans
Method
- Drain peaches thoroughly.
- In mixing bowl, sift together stirred flour, baking soda, salt and sugar.
- Beat egg until thick and add to dry ingredients with drained peaches.
- Stir just enough to moisten dry ingredients.
- Turn into ungreased baking dish (sheet cake size).
