Ingredients

  • 5 to 8 potatoes
  • 1 c. milk
  • 2 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 1 c. Cheddar cheese, grated
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. onion, grated

Method

  • Place in a well oiled baking dish the potatoes (washed, peeled and thinly sliced).
  • Heat in small saucepan the milk, dry mustard, water and grated cheese.
  • Season with salt, pepper and the grated onion.
  • Pour mixture over potatoes.
  • Cover and bake at 375° for 30 minutes.
  • Uncover; continue baking until the potatoes are soft and tender and the top is brown.
