Ingredients
- 1 lb. wild rice
- 3/4 c. sliced mushrooms
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1/2 c. milk
- 3/4 c. green onions, sliced
- 3/4 c. celery, sliced
- 3/4 c. pecans, chopped
- 2 Tbsp. sherry
Method
- Put rice in a bowl and cover with boiling water.
- Set for 20 minutes.
- Repeat 4 times.
- Saute mushrooms, onions, celery and nuts in butter.
- Combine with drained rice, milk and sherry.
- Put in casserole and bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes.
- Serve hot!
