Ingredients

  • 1 cup cooked white rice
  • 1/2 ground sausage
  • 1/4 onion, chopped
  • 3/4 fresh spinach
  • dash season salt
  • cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/3 vegetable oil

Method

  • In a medium skillet start cooking the ground sausage on medium high with the oil
  • When that's half way done add the onions if you have peppers add it
  • When the onions and sausage are completely cooked fold in the spinach
  • This is the point where you add the red crush peppers and season salt cook till the spinach looks semi wilted
  • Add the leftover rice you had in your fridge
  • Keep cooking until the rice is heated evenly than add cheese
  • Remove from heat and plate.
  • You can use it as a side dish or eat it for breakfast
