Ingredients
- 2 to 3 Serrano or jalapeno chiles, seeded and chopped
- 1 c. chopped red onion
- 1/4 c. chopped cilantro
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 to 3 chopped garlic cloves
- 2 Tbsp. water
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1 medium tomato, chopped
- 1 medium avocado, chopped
Method
- Except for avocado, mix all ingredients together in a bowl. Let it stand at room temperature for about an hour.
- Stir several times, then add avocado right before serving with tortilla chips.
